You Said It, I Believe It
One of my favorite songs recently is “Believe For It.” Some people believe that the days of miracles are past, however the Word of God declares differently. Christ was not sent to Earth so that He would die in vain. Rather He was sent so that He would die with purpose! That purpose was to die for the sins of man in order to bring redemption to all and to bring healing to all who will believe.
We live in a world of confusion and distractions all around that tend to cause us to question and doubt the validity of God’s promises in His word. However, we as God’s people must keep our focus on Christ so that He can work in our life as He desires. Let me remind you that the days of miracles are not over. If they are over for you that is because you are not believing for miracles.
Through the simplicity of Scripture, let me remind you of what Isaiah 53:5 declares, “But he was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.” Every stripe He endured was for my healing and your healing therefore let us not stop believing God for healing in our lives.
Some of my favorite scriptures about healing are found in the gospels. Jesus says, “if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.” In the gospels, Jesus heals people who had been blind, paralyzed, sick unto death, stricken with various kinds of illness, and Jesus prays for them and they were healed. Jesus says greater works shall you do because I go to my Father (John 14:12). We have not because we ask not (James 4:2). Believe for it!
