Your child will experience an exciting, fun-filled adventure! They'll dive into amazing Bible stories, sing upbeat songs, make new friends, and explore creative experiments that bring God's love to life. Each day is packed with interactive games, skits, and activities that keep everyone engaged and learning. It's a safe, welcoming place where your child will grow spiritually, laugh a lot, and have a blast while discovering how much God loves them. FAQ
What should my child wear to VBS?
We welcome your children to dress in comfortable, play clothes. We will be doing crafts and playing games that may require some running.
Where should I drop off and pickup my kid?
Drop off and pickup takes place at the main entrance in front of the church. You must come inside to sign your children in and out of VBS each night.
What time should we arrive?
VBS starts at 6:00pm each night. Please have your child there by that time so they don't miss out on any activities or have to seek out their group. Doors open at 5:45pm. Pickup is at 8:00pm.
What ages are allowed to attend VBS?
Our VBS is for ages 4 (& potty trained) through upcoming 5th grade. Pre-registration will be open until June 22nd. Walk-ins will be accepted at the door, but require a longer check-in process.
My child is shy, can I stay with them?
We do recognize that some children may be shy or a little afraid, especially the first night. However, for the safety of all kids, we do not allow parents to stay with their children at VBS. Our VBS Volunteers are all trained in Child Protection Safety Standards and we will have adequate volunteers available to help all the kids feel comfortable.
I am not a member of Farmington Heights, can my child still attend?
ABSOLUTELY! We look forward to meeting you and your child!
Can parents attend VBS?
For the safety of all kids, we do not allow parents to stay in the main building during VBS. The only adults allowed in the building during VBS are our Volunteers who are all trained in Child Protection Safety Standards. This is for the safety and protection of all kids in attendance. However, NEW THIS YEAR - If you would like to stay on campus during VBS, our Surge building will be open for parents during VBS hours (6:00pm-8:00pm). If you need a place to sit and work or just want to be around some other parents for a bit, our Surge building will be available with free Wi-Fi and coffee!
Kid Registration
Pre-registration for Kids will run from April 20th - June 22nd. VBS is for ages 4 through upcoming 5th grade. We will be accepting walk-ins at VBS if you miss the pre-registration date, you will just have a slightly longer check-in process to be sure we have all of your kid's emergency contact information.
Volunteer Registration
Volunteer registration will open on April 1st. Be sure to not wait to sign up, as our volunteer list becomes full quickly. You must be a "dream team volunteer" or member of Farmington Heights Church to volunteer.
