The Powerful Name of Jesus

Have you ever found yourself in a place that you felt as if you didn’t even know how to pray?  Maybe you’ve been so hurt, broken hearted, lost or confused that you didn’t even know where to start praying.  I’ll be honest with you - I have!  

There was a certain time in my life where I felt like I was unworthy to even pray.  The truth is, we all are unworthy.  The Bible says our righteousness is as filthy rags in God’s sight.  When we find ourselves in this situation and we think we can’t pray through, all we have to do is simply utter His Holy name - JESUS!

I’ve found myself broken & hurting and all I could muster up was Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!  I repeated His name until I felt I had broken through and had His full attention.  Did you know the name of Jesus is the ONLY name that can:

Save

Forgive

Heal

Cast out demons

And it validates our prayers.

Any prayer that is prayed in Jesus name is carried straight to The Father, so when we feel like your prayers aren’t getting through & going unnoticed; remember JESUS is our advocate to The Father.  

Matthew 21:22 says, “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”

I’m reminded of the old hymn written by Noel Richards:

We Believe In His Name.
We Have Called On The Name Of Jesus;
We Are Saved! We Are Saved!

At His Name The Demons Flee.
At His Name Captives Are Freed.
